Dr. Jeff Mauldin was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Marietta, Georgia.  He earned his BA in Biology and Environmental Science at the University of Virginia.  In 2002 he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia.  He joined a five-man veterinary practice in Rome, Georgia and after working in that practice for five years, he purchased Blanco North Animal Hospital in July 2007 and moved with his family to San Antonio. Dr. Mauldin's professional memberships are in the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Bexar County Veterinary Association.

Ann has been employed at the clinic since the spring of 1985 and serves as an office manager/veterinary technician.  She did her undergraduate studies in Bio-Medical Science at Texas A&M University and San Antonio College.

Serena has been employed at the clinic since October 1984 and serves as a receptionist/veterinary technician.  She began her undergraduate studies at San Antonio College and later continued her education at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

Diane joined the clinic staff in February 2002.   She graduated in 1978 from Texas State Technical Institute (TSTI) in Waco, Texas with an Associate's Degree in Science in Veterinary Technology.  She graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Lubbock, TX as a Registered Nurse (RN) in June 1992.  She is a retired Hospice Nurse and has 20 years of experience as a veterinary technician.

Ashley started working with the clinic in the summer of 2006 as a Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA) and continues to serve as a part-time veterinary technician while attending San Antonio College.  Since childhood it has been Ashley's dream to become a veterinarian.

Jessica began working at the clinic in the summer of 2008 as a kennel technician.  She is a CO-OP student who is completing her senior year at Robert E. Lee High School.  Jessica has done voluntary community service at the local Humane Society and aspires to be a veterinarian.

Janel has been working with the clinic since October of 2000.  She was originally a clinic client who became a relief and part-time veterinary technician.  She currently supports the staff by working as a relief technician.
